Every since I can remember I’ve always loved TV and Film soundtracks, particularly those from my formative years that being the 1960’s and 1970’s. Composer John Barry has died today aged 77.
His career spanned almost 50 years and there was not a genre of music he didn’t touch. He was most well known for his’ James Bond Scores’, namely, ‘From Russia with love’, ‘Goldfinger’ and ‘Diamonds are forever’.Other notable film work included ‘Midnight Cowboy’, ‘Born Free’ and ‘Out of Africa’.
