A welcome addition to library music available on CD  is the recently released ‘Melodies on the Move’ produced by Steven Willis  from Chichester Hospital Radio.

This compilation contains tracks  from the less known ‘Mozart Edition (GB)' library.

Established in the late 1950's by London music publishers Joe Cohen and Dr. Gustav Zagler from Vienna.  They employed many distinguished British composers and arrangers who were working in the instrumental light music area.  Their work was published along with other composers/ arrangers from many European countries, in particular, Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland.

Over its lifetime the catalogue expanded to over 3000 pieces of work.

This collection regularly supplied music to be played over the ‘Test Card’, and in later years the ‘ teletext’ pages, spanning from the 1960’s to the 1990’s.

This CD contains 24 beautiful recordings from the Mozart Edition (GB) library, which have either been released for sale
for the first time, or are now available in Stereo.

I hope soon to add a page to the site listing commercially available library music on CD.

But for now, Happy Listening!
